Whether you’re a racing fan, literary fan or hard rock fan the WhiStle has got some new programs you are sure to enjoy.

Tuesdays at 7pm, starting this Tuesday January 13, car racing enthusiasts will enjoy Race Time Radio, an hour long show about what’s hot and what’s not in provincial stock car racing. Read more about it at http://www.whistleradio.com/RaceTimeRadio.html

Fridays starting this January 16 @ 10:00pm is the launch of Edge the Cliff. Host Steve Cliff takes you to Stouffville’s local rock bands, and plays some cool interviews and wild music. Learn more about the show at http://www.whistleradio.com/EdgeOfTheCliff.html

Literary fans will enjoy a new extended version of Shelf Life on Sundays.  Hosted by Librarian Catherine Sword, Shelf Life brings you up to date on what’s going on at the Whitchurch-Stouffville library Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:55am. Sunday’s show, which airs at 5:30pm, is an extended version and includes interviews & book readings. Read more about the show at http://www.whistleradio.com/Library.html.

Don’t miss Walk of Life with Helen Drew Sundays at 5:00pm. In this 3 part series, 3 woman from Whitchurch-Stouffville’s Buckingham Manor tell their stories.

Fans of Artist’s Corner please note the new time on Tuesdays: 6:00pm. (The show is still on at 11:00am on Saturdays.) And Sundays at 6:00pm we air a half hour newscast produced monthly by The National Campus and Community Radio Association titled Groundwire.
